How can you add crystals to the candles?

It is not rocket science to add crystals to the candles. You’ll require a few things to proceed;
- Crystals chose at your discretion.
- Waxes used for candles Essential oils or scent oils
- Chopsticks, Popsicle sticks, and pencils all work.
- Jar or other containers
- The use of a heat gun, a double boiler, or the oven
- Glue or scissors
Step #1 Finalizing the crystal that you will be using
The first thing you need to do is select the crystal that you want to put in your candle smell. After making your decision, choose the diamond you want to keep and store it in a container close to you so that you won’t have to stress about it later. When selecting your crystal, be sure to keep the following in mind:
Gems that have been polished to a smooth finish are superior. Wax will be applied to the crystals, even though they are hard and sturdy. Consequently, it would be best if you had the kind that won’t get clogged up with wax while it’s being used. Choose protective stones that do not have any cracks or crevices as a result.
It doesn’t matter what size it is as long as it can fit within the candle decoration. If you want to be able to pack a lot of gems inside your candle designs, you can make a huge gem fit by breaking it up into smaller pieces first.
Steer clear of crystals that are easily damaged by heat. For instance, heating citrine will cause it to lose its color. Because opal also includes soapy water, it will shatter when subjected to high temperatures.
Avoid coral, pearls, and similar items because they’re sensitive to temperature changes. Organic gems and synthetic stone of happiness or stone of opportunity are fine.
After determining whatever kind of crystal you wish to work with, you can go shopping at nearby stores or purchase it over the internet.

Step #2 Prepare the container
Cut the wicks to an appropriate length. Make sure they’re slightly longer than the height of your candle jar. Secure one end of each wicking material to the bottom of the candle jar using a pencil, chopsticks, or popsicle sticks. Then place the other ends of the wicks across the top of the flowers in candle jar so that they hang down into the wax pool.
Step #3 Melt the wax
Take the necessary measurements to determine how much wax you require to make your jar candles. The wax should then be melted. You can melt wax in the microwave as well. There are various methods you can use to melt the wax. You could, for instance, heat water in a stainless-steel mixing pot and then place another container on top of the water. Or, you could place the wax into a baking pan and bake it in an oven until it melts.
Several considerations to keep in mind while you are melting the wax are as follows:
- When you have the bowl, you should protect yourself from the hot liquid by using heating mats whenever you touch it. During the process, you shouldn’t ever, at any point, touch your bare skin. This is very important! Use gloves.
- Choose materials that can resist high temperatures as an alternative to using plastic. Plastic shouldn’t be used for any of these processes at any point.
- After the wax has melted, you should wait for it to cool for a short while before adding the essential oils. You might use a combination of different essential oils to create an aroma uniquely yours. Nevertheless, exercise caution to prevent experiencing an allergic reaction. To put it another way, you shouldn’t use essential oil if it’s known to cause a negative medical reaction. Repeatedly stirring it after adding the oil will help it distribute evenly.
Step #4 Fill the candle jar or container with the molten wax
Pour the wax into the safe candle holder in a measured and consistent manner. Ensure that the wick remains vertical at all times during this operation. After the wax has had some time to firm up, you may next add your crystals.
You can add crystals in different ways. For example, you can pour the wax into separate containers and then add the crystals one by one or sprinkle the crystals directly onto the melted wax.
Place one or more crystals on the surface that has become firm after each layer has had time to harden, and then repeat the process until you achieve the desired result.

You might also wait until the wax completely solidifies, then place your stones directly on the surface of the finished product. The remaining wax should be melted, and then it should be poured over the diamond. However, ensure that the wick’s tip is exposed after filling the container up to the desired amount. By now, the special candle warmer will be too deeply embedded for anyone to be able to view its base. However, you will be able to observe the end of the wicks.
Step #5 Trim your wick
The flame will become excessively intense if the candle’s wick is stretched too far. Additionally, it results in various issues with candles. Therefore, the length of the wick should be trimmed to approximately one-quarter of an inch.
