How To Make Swirl Candles?

Swirl candles are very trendy right now. They are simple to make and add a lot of style to any room. All you need is a container, a wick, a spoon, a glue dot, a pouring jug, a heat gun or hair dryer, and a scale.

Start by melting the paraffin wax and the gel wax separately. Pour the melted paraffin into your mold. Add some Red dye chips to the jugs at around 60-65 degrees Celsius and stir in slowly until completely mixed. Scoop out some red wax and place it into the jar. Rotate the jar slowly while allowing the wax to drop, causing a swirl pattern on the inside of the jar. Once the red wax has cooled down, pour the cream wax onto the red wax. Allow the cream wax to cool down and harden.

Ingredients

This candle recipe uses KeraSoy 4130 container wax, which is made from soybean oil. Soybean oil is considered a renewable resource, meaning that there is no shortage of it. It's also biodegradable, making it safe for our environment.

You'll also find that this candle recipe uses fragrance oils, which are natural scents that give off a pleasant aroma. You can find a wide variety of fragrances at any grocery store.

To add color to your candles, you'll use candy cane swirl dye. This is a food coloring that comes in liquid form. You simply mix it with water until it reaches the desired shade.

To make this candle, you'll need to melt down the KeraSoy wax in a bain Marie. You'll also need to add fragrance oil, dye, glue dots, wicks, a spoon, a pouring jug, weighing scales, a heat gun or hair dryer, and a container.

Measure Your Wax

You'll need to measure your wax before pouring it into your container. You should weigh your wax using a digital scale. A digital scale is accurate and precise, making it easier to measure your wax accurately.

Once you've measured your wax, pour it into your container. Pour enough wax to cover the bottom of the container completely. Don't worry if there's still some left at the top; it won't affect the candle's quality. Weigh out 160 grams of our wax using a scale. Pour the wax into a melting pan.

Melt The Wax

You'll need to melt the wax before making your candle. You can either use a microwave oven or a regular stovetop burner. Either method works fine. Just keep stirring the wax every couple of minutes to avoid burning yourself.

Add The Dye

You'll want to add the red dye to the wax before pouring it into the candle mold. You can either mix it directly into the wax or add it to the pouring jug first. Once you've added the dye, leave the rest of the wax in the Bain Marie or the pouring jug as we will use this later.

This recipe makes a beautiful swirl candle that looks great on any table setting. It's simple enough for beginners to make but still looks professional enough for anyone else.

Swirling The Wax

You'll find that making swirls in candle wax is pretty simple. All you need is a spoon and a glass container. Start by melting some red wax using a heat source. Then, scoop some of the molten wax onto the bottom of the glass container.

Next, rotate the glass slowly while letting the wax fall down, creating a swirling pattern on the inside of the container. Continue rotating the glass until you have the desired swirl.

You'll find that it takes only a few minutes to make a beautiful swirl. Once you've mastered this technique, you can start experimenting with other colors and designs.

Prepare Your Container

You'll want to prepare your candle container before adding any wax. Place a glue dot on the bottom of the container where you plan to place the wick.

Remove the glue dot tab and stick the wick through the center hole. Then slide the wick across to hold it in place. You may need to add a wick-centering tool to keep the wick standing straight.

Add a wick-centering device to keep the wick straight. Once the wick is centered, add a wick-centering device to keep the wicks upright.

Add Dye To The Main Wax

You'll want to add dye to the main wax before melting it down. You can either add the dye directly to the wax or mix it into the melted wax. Whichever method you decide to use, you should stir the mixture slowly until it's completely mixed.

Once you've added the dye to the main wax, you'll want to heat it up to melt it down. Once it's melted, you'll want to pour it into molds and let it cool. Then you'll be able to enjoy your beautiful candle creations!

Add Fragrance Oil

Adding fragrance oil to your candle mix is very simple. You simply pour the fragrance oil into the melted wax until it reaches the desired level. Stirring the mixture helps blend the fragrance evenly throughout the wax.

Once you've poured the fragrance oil into your container, stir the mixture for two minutes to make sure the fragrance blends evenly throughout the wax. Now you're ready to start making your decorative candles.

Pour The Remaining Wax And Let It Set

You've poured the remaining cream wax into the glass container, but you still have to let it cool down. You'll want to leave the candles at room temperature for 24 hours without moving the containers.

This process allows the cream wax to harden completely and form a smooth surface. Once the candles have cooled, you can remove them from the glass container and place them on a flat surface.

Use A Heat Gun To Create A Swirl Effect

Swirl candles are beautiful and unique. You can add a swirl effect to any candle using a heat gun. All you need to do is heat the side of the glass where the candle sits. As the wax melts, it will start to swirl. Once you're done creating the swirl, simply trim off the excess wick.

You can use a heat gun to create a swirl effect on any kind of aesthetic candle. Just heat the side of the container where the candle sits.

Then, as the wax starts to melt, it will begin to swirl. Continue heating the sides of the container until you're satisfied with the swirl effect. Finally, trim off the excess wicks.
